A NOTE FROM THE MANAGING DIRECTOR
In the first year of trading since Smiths of Peterhead took control of the two mills we have achieved our two most important objectives:
1) We have exceeded our target turnover.
2) We have all but eliminated delivery delays experienced by customers in previous years.
Customers who have stuck by us during this transition have been rewarded by "a much better customer service".
However, improved customer service is not the only reason why we have achieved our objectives. We have stood fast in our commitment to manufacturing the best quality yarns and fabrics, in the most innovative colours and designs and with a genuine stock service and vastly improved manufacturing process which has reduced lead times considerably.
